How quickly we forget the long hot summer days. We have had a bit of mild wet weather and it feels like fall already. It is so welcome when blue patches appear in the sky and the sun breaks through to illuminate a quiet place to sit and enjoy the warmth.

Official Community Plan Open House
This weekend we attended the public open house and workshop for the Gabriola Island Official Community Plan review which was held at the Community Hall. This largest of summer art festivals on Gabriola promises to be a favorite with locals and visitors alike.
