Double Feature Movie Afternoon
We are extremely lucky to have a wonderful Peer Helping program on Gabriola. The participants are in their mid teens and are learning many different life skills including the logistics of planning and hosting fundraising events. One of the fabulous events they organize and host are the double feature movie afternoons. Starting with Aladdin at 1:30 pm and Back to the Future starting at 4 pm all ages can enjoy both movies for just $8. Snacks are also available for purchase and include the usual goodies of slushies, popcorn, cupcakes and more. In addition child care is available during the second movie for those adults who would like to view sans children!“Double Feature Movie event at the HOPE Centre, hosted by the Teen Peer Helpers.
