After a somewhat rocky start to the garden this year (thought we were infested with wire worms which turned out to be a variety of centipede) we have an amazing garden! This lettuce is a bolt resistant red butter lettuce which did very well in the heat wave we are just finishing. We split this lettuce in two and half of it still was enough for two large salads!
