This weekend at McIvor Lake in Campbell River a friend and I participated in the Mud Run Ride race. This is a 5 km run 5 km mountain bike race interspersed with challenges that need to be completed before continuing on. We did it as a team of two, alternating who rode and who ran after every challenge, ending with us needing to crawl through the mud pit together at the end.
