This weekend we are enjoying the 5th annual Gabriola Theatre Festival, a three day extravaganza of fun revolving around 10 live plays, free outdoor entertainment, pancake breakfast, street faire and kids corner arts and crafts. We  watched 3 plays, observed a flash mob dance on the street, saw musical and magical entertainment, shopped the street art booths and generally had a very good time. The plays were excellent, this is an event to attend!
