What to do on a blustery and wet day on Gabriola? Head to Mad Rona’s for a warm up hot chocolate and a book. While our youngest daughter celebrated with friends at a birthday party our 7 year old daughter asked to go out for a hot chocolate so she could curl up on the couch and begin her new book. She spent the next 45 minutes with her nose pressed into her new find from GIRO only come up for air when she felt the need for a sip of hot chocolate or to share a part of the story she has begun. She has started a book called “Kringle” which seems to be about the beginning of the legend of Santa. She is in heaven as the book is full of goblins, faeries, magic and so much more fantasy filled excitement!
