With Christmas creeping ever closer it is time to start looking at what to buy the special ones in our lives. This year like many past years we are committing to buy local whenever possible. To help our readers out we are going to do spotlights on local businesses that we like to buy Christmas gifts from. Today I went into Gabriola Artworks and had a good time taking some photos of their wares that would make great gifts and stocking stuffers. From handcrafted soaps to decadent jewellery, art, local music CD’s and everything in between you will find something for most people on your list. Greeted with bright colours and friendly faces you can enjoy a warm beverage upstairs while pondering what to buy, perhaps even sneaking in a little something for yourself!
